Efficient transportation through trailer handovers
The MANSIO Relay Transport System is based on the established principle of meeting traffic: two trucks meet halfway, swap trailers and each one drives its colleague’s trailer back to its own home region.
AI-based matching of transport orders
You enter your transport orders, our AI-based algorithm matches suitable transport orders on a daily basis and suggests suitable meeting transports.
Consideration of real-time traffic data and connection to telematics. We are connected to the telematics of the trailers. This means you can track the location of your trailer live on a map. In addition, we can react dynamically to transport planning by retrieving real-time traffic data and, for example, designate a new changeover point and communicate this to the drivers.
Real-time access to parking spaces of private parking providers as well as public parking spaces for trailer exchange. Via an interface, we have Europe-wide access to the booking of parking spaces from private parking providers such as KRAVAG Truck Parking, Bosch Secure Truck Parking and Park Your Truck. These exchange points can be booked by our software when planning the tours. However, public parking lots or forwarding hubs can also be used as change points.

For example, you can transfer relevant transport orders directly from there into our system, but you can of course also import your orders into our system via CSV export or directly manually.
An intuitive app for truck drivers also provides operational support during transportation. Whether uploading proof of loading or proof of delivery, completing the handover protocol at the changeover point or reporting any damage, we ensure greater transparency along the transport chain. At the same time, our system can communicate with the driver via push notification in the event of updates during transportation.
Taking charging infrastructure, ranges, current battery levels, transport weight and topography into account, we can also integrate towing units with alternative drive systems into our MANSIO network and carry out resilient route planning. This means that such trucks can already be used cost-effectively in long-distance transport today.
In our reporting overview, you will find an intuitive dashboard specifically for your company with relevant key performance indicators, such as capacity utilization per trailer, kilometers driven per trailer, number of handovers in the period under review, as well as CO2 savings achieved for your transports.
After the completion of the encounter transports, the financial settlement between the forwarding partners is carried out by our system on the basis of configurable rules.

How do I get the software?
After signing the user agreement with MANSIO, you will continuously receive your suitable matches, i.e. suitable transport orders and meeting transport partners. Communication takes place via our web-based software platform (B2B) and we instruct you on all the functions. For the purposes of route management and viewing financial statements, the platform is mainly used by dispatchers and administration. After activation by the MANSIO administration, they can log in via email and password and have access to the functions relevant to them. The MANSIO Driver app can be installed by truck drivers on any smartphone or tablet, and truck drivers can also access the app via login data or simply via a route-specific access code.
What is the artificial intelligence in MANSIO's software?
Our core competence is the MANSIO algorithm we have developed. We use machine learning to continuously optimize it and thus increase the matching probability for the transport orders you send us. In this way, we ensure that every encounter traffic is resiliently planned and provides sufficient routing alternatives in the event of disruptions. At the same time, by taking real-time traffic data and real-time tracking of the trailers into account, we can dynamically adjust transports and change points if necessary. This is then fed back to dispatchers and drivers in real time via the platform and app, so that everyone involved is always up to date.
Who operates the software in my company?
Here we differentiate between the web-based MANSIO platform, which is essentially operated by the dispatchers of your forwarding company, and the truck drivers, who operate the intuitive MANSIO Driver App for the purpose of proper trailer handover (using a simple handover protocol) at the changeover point. Truck drivers can also upload the POD or other documents and services relevant to their needs when they arrive at the destination depot.
Is MANSIO a digital freight forwarder?
No, MANSIO operates purely as a software service provider for freight forwarders and shippers.
What are the advantages for me?

MANSIO works with all e-truck tractor units.
Can I also link the MANSIO system directly to my TMS system?
We are constantly integrating new TMS systems and linking them to our system. As a dispatcher, you can use MANSIO as an “add-in” to your TMS system while continuing to work in your TMS. However, TMS integration is optional. You can also use MANSIO easily via a browser.
How much does it cost to use the MANSIO system?
MANSIO charges a small monthly participation fee per participating location. In addition, a small percentage fee is charged on the turnover generated in the MANSIO system for each transport processed.
Why should I use MANSIO and not organize meeting transports myself?
With MANSIO, you can find new match transports with numerous MANSIO partners every day. MANSIO reduces the administrative effort and supports you throughout the entire process, from matching and transportation to financial clearing. Thanks to our network and our daily updated matching, you have many more matching options for a meeting transport every day and much less effort on the part of the dispatcher. During transportation, we make the handover much easier for the driver. Thanks to the telematics connection of the trailers and our comprehensive network of changeover points, we can also dynamically adapt and book a changeover point in the event of delays and communicate this to the drivers during the journey. And last but not least, we ensure fair, transparent and automated billing between the partners.
Does MANSIO also offer solutions for combined transport?
In principle, we are able to handle the intermodal traffic with intermodal load carriers such as containers or swap bodies. However, we are also happy to optimize your pre- and on-carriage to the terminals.
How can I participate in the MANSIO system?
Whether you are a freight forwarder with or without your own fleet, carrier or shipper: there are opportunities to participate for every role. Starting with an initial contact, we identify your potential in a first step before we can get started operationally. We provide you and your employees with consistent support during the onboarding process.
