MANSIO receives patent for innovative trailer securing system
Granting of our patent for innovative anti-theft device for semi-trailers
MANSIO GmbH, together with PEM Motion GmbH, has been granted patent no. DE 10 2022 122 625 for a newly developed anti-theft device for semi-trailers. The patent protects a technical solution that protects the kingpin of the trailer from unauthorized coupling with the help of an integrated, wedge-shaped securing element.
In contrast to conventional, manually fitted locks, the security system is installed directly on the trailer and can be controlled both mechanically and electronically. This not only improves theft protection, but also simplifies operation for the driver. Additional components such as sensors, motor control and a communication unit also enable monitoring and control in real time.
