Bosch integrates MANSIO

MANSIO joins Bosch L.OS - digital logistics platform connects transportation solutions

The start-up MANSIO is joining Bosch’s digital logistics platform L.OS with its software solution for meeting transports. MANSIO’s solution will be bookable via the open service platform from the start of 2024. Technical integration is planned for May 2024.

Greater visibility and new partnerships

As a first step, the start-up expects its placement on the platform to increase the visibility and reach of its software-based encounter traffic. MANSIO Managing Director Dr. Maik Schürmeyer assumes that the digital marketplace will attract transporters and freight forwarders that his young company would otherwise not have access to. The one-time registration on the portal would make it easy for users to discover the alternative of meeting traffic. For the digital MANSIO transport system, there are many points of contact with the solutions of the other platform participants. “We need suitable free parking spaces for the meeting traffic in order to change trailers. We want to book these online directly from our system with the providers of parking areas that are represented on L.OS,” explains Schürmeyer.

MANSIO is also aiming to integrate its own application into the TMS solutions of freight forwarders, one of the first providers of which is already present on the L.OS platform. “This is an opportunity for us to work more closely with freight forwarders. Our approach is fundamentally open to technology. In particular, the use of digital transport platforms enables small and medium-sized companies to easily transfer data from the encounter traffic to the forwarding software,” says Schürmeyer about the synergy effects of the cooperation. “We see the Bosch L.OS digital ecosystem as a simple and forward-looking solution that allows freight forwarders and carriers to select the right applications from a pool of digital solution providers for all aspects of road freight transport and use and combine them in an integrated manner without having to build their own interfaces. This approach suits us,” explains MANSIO Managing Director Dr. Maik Schürmeyer.
