Logistics in the spotlight: the winners of the Eco Performance Awards 2024 have been announced

Spotlight on the winners of the Eco Performance Award (EPA) 2024: For the 17th time, the award put the spotlight on companies that are particularly committed to sustainability in terms of economic, ecological and social aspects. The award ceremony took place as part of the Zero Emission Summit organized by trans aktuell and Schaeffler in Fürth.

The award is supported by a consortium consisting of Kravag, Schaeffler Group, SVG Süd and Transcoop09; the name “Award of the Associations” stems from the idealistic sponsorship by the associations Astag and SpedlogSwiss (both Switzerland) as well as BdKEP, BWVL, DSLV, BGL.

According to project manager Ludwig Häberle from the Logistics Advisory Board, the EPA aspirants had to endure an intensive process lasting several months, during which the jury put the submitted concepts through their paces – with a focus on innovations in which the topic of sustainability was considered holistically.

In the Start-ups category, the company Clover Optimization won with its solution for transport planning by means of fully automated route optimization, ahead of the Aachen-based company MANSIO with its platform for meeting transports.
