Every year, CNA e.V., together with the Cluster BahnTechnik and the Logistik Initiative Bayern, presents the IP | Innovation Award to companies, organizations, start-ups, universities, colleges or research institutions for particularly innovative products, developments or services.
This is a special recognition of the fact that research and innovative action make a special contribution to sustainable economic growth, to securing jobs and to improving the competitiveness of Bavaria as a business location.
In the “INNOVATION” category, this year’s prize went to Trailer Dynamics GmbH from Eschweiler. The eTrailer developed by the start-up outsources the electric drivetrain to the trailer and thus supports the primary drive of the tractor unit regardless of the manufacturer. It is powered by its own traction battery and can be controlled in real time with the tractor unit. The product is currently undergoing technical validation and operational testing. Series production is scheduled to start in 2026. MANSIO received a “Special Award” in this category.
