What are the advantages for shippers?
As a shipper, you benefit in several ways:
1. on longer transport corridors, your goods always remain in motion in the semi-trailer according to the staggered principle; the driver’s rest break is decoupled from the transport. This means you benefit (for example on a transport from Spain to Germany) from a halving of the transport time.
2. you improve your eco-balance: by avoiding empty runs (through guaranteed return loads) and doubling truck capacity utilization, intermodal transport is more sustainable than conventional long-distance transport.
