Cooperation aims to create a seamless logistics chain

While modern systems in transport logistics improve individual processes, critical transitions often remain unconnected. MANSIO and PASS Logistics Solutions want to close the gaps at the interfaces between the first and last mile and long-distance transportation to create a seamless logistics chain.

With its Plantour and Mapservices software solutions, PASS brings powerful tools for optimizing the first and last mile to the partnership. MANSIO, on the other hand, uses its own relay system to organize journeys according to the principle of cross-carrier intermodal transport. In this way, we ensure a cost-efficient “long haul” or main run of the goods.

Although both partners already enable API-based integration of short and long-haul routes, so that end-to-end optimization scenarios of the transport chain can be implemented even without direct coupling, the potential of the cooperation goes even further: a direct connection enables PASS systems to react to live information from MANSIO – for example in the event of delays in the main leg, which can be incorporated into route planning for the last mile in real time.
